All these ads for women with bladder control problems and I find myself having issues too. The control thing is fine, no worries there, but I'll go extended periods of time thinking I need to pee and never actually getting to the bathroom. "Let me just throw this load of laundry in, print out a coloring page and grab the socks on my way to the bathroom...oh what's that? You're hungry? Okay here's some goldfish, NO YOU HAVE TO SHARE!...okay here's a pile for you and a pile for you...(phone rings) lender calling...Let me just grab that...can I pee and talk to my lender?...maybe if I just don't flush..."
You get the gist. All this "make time for yourself" advice out there and I'm sure I'm not the only one who sometimes doesn't get basic bodily functions checked off the "to do" list.
I got my friend Trish a set of paints for her birthday in August and promised to paint with her. Of course we never got it scheduled until today but we felt happy and refreshed that we made the time for it. Valerie lent us her gorgeous back yard. It was getting hot and we were wrapping up, a little grumpy from hunger and thirst. When I took these pictures, I reminded Trish and myself how lucky we are. "I'd be jealous of us if I saw this on the internet."
Here is Trish with our work. She did a GREAT job her first time painting. Dare I say she's a natural? It doesn't surprise me. She has great taste and an innate sense of color and composition. Visit her facebook group Farm Girls and say, "hi". You'll be glad you got to know her.
How nice does that pool look? It was pretty look at but too chilly to jump in. Here's a close up my painting.
Now I REALLY gotta go!

I had to GO straight to get more acrylics, I had a really, what's the word for it, FABULOUS time! I can't wait to go back and lighten her up, now that the paints won't dry in 2 seconds under that beautiful sun. I can't wait to do it again, what a blast! The boys were very impressed, and Zach said I should write a book (I'd like to assume he was referring to the illustrator instead of suggesting I go in a different direction with my talents). Until next time Monet!

So funny. Thanks Zach, it's like saying you have a great face for radio.

For some reason, when I'm putting the key in my front door, I almost wet my pants EVERY TIME. I put off going to the bathroom all day, just like you described...
