I'm off to Pittsburgh at 6:30am, traveling with the girls for the first time as the only adult. I'm anxious and grumpy. Sabrina has a cold and just mentioned her ear hurts. I can't get into the pediatrician so I'm stocking the benedryl and tylenol and keeping my fingers crossed.
My "Jinx Tree" is all about doing the best I can as a parent. Knives and spoons are the decisions (read about them here since they show up in a lot of my work) I dole out daily. The jars and bottles catch any spirits that might be lingering from all those choices, mine and even the ones down to the roots.
Probably worth noting there are few empty wine bottles in that tree too.
