Trying to fit it all in isn't really working with the new summer hours.
I found time to paint but not time to write about what I'm thinking about. Rather than looking at this as a failure, I will congratulate myself on finding time to paint...and have a thought.

That's lovely -- the other night, my younger son Oliver showed a visitor the painting I bought from you. He said, "This beautiful painting is by someone who blogs like my mother. My mother gets all this cool stuff from other bloggers."
It was much admired.
